From Lassen Coach Will Freedman: Demario Newman has signed with Brescia University. Newman is 6-foot-6 and out of Rancho Cordova High. He averaged 6.8 points plus 6.2 boards last season, shooting 46%, 47% and 72% respectively.


The University of Incarnate Word, located in San Antonio, has brought Ryan (Napa High) Imhoff on board as graduate manager for the basketball team.  Link


In the third game of Cincinnati’s pre-season tour of eastern Canada, freshman Logan (St. Francis High) Johnson played 17 minutes in a 79-52 Bearcat victory and tallied six points, four assists and two rebounds.

Former Justin Sienna High and DIII Wesleyan University basketball talent Nathan Krill is now listed as a graduate student on the USF roster.

The 6-foot-7 Krill averaged 12.2 points plus 8.6 boards last season while shooting 42%, 38% and 73% respectively. He will be eligible immediately.
