6-foot-3 sophomore Anthony (Heritage High) Dennis posted 30 points, nine boards, four assists and two steals in Monterey Peninsula College’s 88-83 loss to Shasta College.


Isiah Attles tallied 25 points, six rebounds and four assists in Contra Costa College’s 102-74 victory over Sacramento City College.


Behind 18 rebounds , eight points, five assists and three blocks from Daylon (Edison High) Potts and behind a 45-31 second half, Gavilan College edged Foothill College 74-70.

With its scoring evenly divided (Malcolm Johnson 19, Austin McCullough and Dale (Sheldon High) Currie 18, Deschon Winston 14, Emeka (De La Salle) Udeny and Niamey (Mission High) Harris 12) City College of San Fancisco topped College of Alameda 124-100.


Georgie (Beyer High) Dancer provided 19 points, five boards and five assists in Fresno City College’s 81-55 win over Napa Valley College.


Mrad (Gunderson High) Abrha led with 21 points and Daylon (Edison High) Potts posted a line of 18 boards, 14 points and seven assists as Gavilan College bested Merced College 80-75. The Rams again used a strong second 20 minutes, 48-36, to nab the victory.


With 20 points, seven boards and three assists from Anthony (Heritage High) DennisMonterey Peninsula College beat Chabot College 64-59.


From Saturday:

Gavilan College 73, Chabot College 41 as Deion (McClymonds High) Ellis enjoyed 21 points, six boards and five blocked shots for the victors.

CCSF 79, Fresno City College 70

Georgie (Beyer High) Dancer played big again for FCC with 24 points, six rebounds and five assists.

Austin McCullough led the victorious City-ites with 20 points, Malcolm Johnson provided 15 and Deschon Winston finished with 13.

Trey (Harbor High) Whitley tallied 18 points on 6-11, 3-5 and 3-4 shooting respectively as Cabrillo College topped Shasta College 61-51.

Evan (Berkeley High) Thompson led the Comets with 24 points but Contra Costa College fell 74-70 to Las Positas College.

Santa Rosa Junior College 88, Fresno City College 86 FCC box

In the loss, Jonah (Clovis North High) Brown scored 21 points on 4-8 shooting from long distance and grabbed five boards. Skylar (Drake High) Chavez paced the Bear Cubs with 26 points.


Sophomore Kenny (Manteca High) Wooten totaled nine rebounds, seven points and four blocked shots in Oregon’s 77-58 homecourt victory over Western Oregon University on Friday.


6-foot-5 sophomore Alex (Valley Christian High) Sokol scored 21 points in Cal State Northridge’s 89-87 success against Cal State Los Angeles on Thursday. Sokol shot 7-14, 5-9 and 2-2 respectively.


On Saturday, Phil (Franklin High/Western Nebraska) Fayne scored 23 points and teammate Zach (Berkeley High/CCSF) Copeland 17 in Illinois State’s 82-74 victory over Augustana.
