Here are the rosters for the upcoming (August 25 @ 3:00 p.m.) Nor Cal Clash (to be held at Chabot College) featuring talents from the 2020 and 2021 classes.

Verbal Commits: “Utah G Naseem Gaskin (RS FR) has entered the transfer portal.”

He initially went a bit too high — curious timing, too. Gaskin can certainly be a solid component on a northern California D1 program so let’s hope he comes back so we can see him play. More.

Verbal Commits DII: “2019 Fresno City College (CA) G George Dancer has signed with Colorado Mesa.”

Offered by CM on 7/30, he also had an offer from heading-to-D1 Dixie State. Colorado Mesa’s roster also contains Tommy Nuno, Jess Spivey, David Rico and Jared Small—all from FCC.

Peter Hewitt is transferring:

At 6-foot-10, he’s formerly of St. Francis High, UC Davis and Las Positas College. Hewitt played in nine games but just 27 minutes total at Tulsa so it’s possible he could gain back a year of eligibility. He’s currently a junior.

JucoRecruiting: “6’7 G/F Dylan Belquist (San Francisco transfer) has signed with Salt Lake CC”

Salt Lake has a new head coach in Kyle Taylor. Belquist will be a freshman, having redshirted at USF after playing at Los Gatos High.

Mike Bush: “…Former boys basketball head coach is the new Manteca High boys basketball head coach…”

Good to see Jason Hitt back on the sidelines.

“Malik Pope close to joining Rostock Seawolves” Emiliano Carchia

Monty Bowser: “Excited to receive an offer from the coaching staff at UC Davis!”

The 6-f00t-6 Bishop O’Dowd/Team Lillard senior also possesses offers from Hofstra, Cal Poly, Howard, UC Riverside, UC Irvine, Pacific, UC Santa Barbara, Cal State Northridge, Northern Kentucky and Grand Canyon.

Team Lillard B-ball: “2020 Teiano Hardee has picked up an offer from Cal State Eastbay.”

Hardee is a 6-foot-5 guard out of Vanden High and with a February offer from Northern Colorado.

6-foot-2 2021 Sheldon High junior point Yaru Harvey has received an offer from Eastern Washington of the Big Sky Conference. He also plays on the Lakeshow 16s Elite squad.

SDA-Soldiers: “Congratulations to SDA-Soliders wing for his offer to Sonoma State!!!”

That’s 6-foot-5 2019 La Costa Canyon (CA) wing Charles Williams III.

Ethan Kassell: “So Mitty has Devan Sapp and Marcus Greene in the class of 2020, then Nigel Burris and Michael Mitchell in the class of 2021. Plus Arrish Bhandal could be an impact player if he recovers from surgery.”

Burris is transferring in from Stuart Hall.

Verbal Commits: “2020 Sheldon (CA) G Marcus Bagley has committed to Arizona State.”

Steven Wilson wrote about Bagley back in April.

Verbal Commits: “2020 Saint Augustine (CA) F Chibuzo Agbo, Jr. has received an offer from California.”

He’s a 6-foot-6 wing holding 12 others offers, including one from Arizona and another from USC.

Gladiator Basketball: “Gladiator Men’s Basketball is excited about the commitment of 6”5 210 G/F Ramaj Gordon from Legacy of Arts High School in Houston,Texas. Ramaj brings to the program solid versatility and skill on offense, defense and rebounding. Thanks to #@FYNALLSTARS”
