Thursday, February 13

Sayeed (El Cerrito High) Pridgett led with 25 points in host Montana’s 72-37 takedown of Weber State.

De’Jon (Oakland Tech) Davis posted a 19 point, 19 rebound double double-double as Cal Baptist had no trouble disposing of Westcliff 107-45.

UTEP fell 67-62 to visiting Western Kentucky but Souley (Oakland Tech) Boum still provided 21 points, eight rebounds and three assists.

UC Davis took the measure of UC Santa Barbara 84-75 with freshman guard Ezra (Heritage High) Manjon’s 20 points leading in scoring.

Jamaree (Palma High) Bouyea led with 17 points and also seven assists in the 70-61 USF victory over host Santa Clara.

Jayce (Folsom High) McCain scored 22 points alongside five assists and five boards as Cal State San Marcos edged Cal State Los Angeles 78-76.

Linton (Cabrillo College) Acliese led all scorers with 24 points the San Francisco State 77-69 homecourt success versus Humboldt State.

Cosumnes River College fell 79-78 to Modesto Junior College despite getting 25 points from Adam (Ponderosa High) Orr (6-13 from long distance) and 22 from Kenneth (Laguna Creek High) Cooley.

Ryan (Laguna Creek High) Reed led with 25 points as Sacramento City College defeated Sierra College 75-65.

Delta Men’s Basketball: “Delta wins 104- 70 over Folsom. Travis August 23, Dillon Autrey 20 and Reily Nabors 17. Mustangs are now 17-10 and 10-5 in league.”

Wednesday, February 12

Fresno State edged San Jose State University 84-78 in overtime with Noah (Woodcreek High) Blackwell providing a solid 10 points, eight boards, four assists plus zero turnovers for the San Joaquin-ers.

Micah (Lick-Wilmerding) Elan finished with 19 points, six rebounds, six assists and just one turnover in Pomona-Pitzer’s 70-59 topping of Caltech.

Oberlin College bested Alleghany College 74-64 as Christian (Menlo-Atherton High) Fioretti finished with 25 points, seven boards and four assists.

Fresno City College tripped to Porterville and nabbed an 83-70 win powered by freshman guard Mohammed (Monterey High) Adam’s perfect shooting 6-6 overall, 5-5 from three-point range) resulting in 17 points.

Tiveon (Selma High) Stroud loomed large due to 20 points and 16 rebounds and teammate Ryan (Hanford High) Johnson provided 15 points plus 10 rebounds in the College of Sequoias 81-67 success versus host Reedley College.

College of Alameda continued on a roll with a 97-82 homecourt victory over Los Medanos College. Kameron Malbrough produced 24 points plus 15 assists and six boards with teammate Mamane Yaou contributing 22 points.

Michael (West High) Hayes went for 27 points plus 11 rebounds, Andrew (Freedom High/Metro State) Mork 20 points and Michael (Patterson High/Modesto Junior College) Moore 19 as host Las Positas College topped Chabot College 84-80. Jabari (Sacramento High) Sweet led Chabot with 24 points and Skylar (Dublin High) Robinson contributed 18.

DeAnza College edged host Gavilan College 88-85 with Dominic (Evergreen Valley High) Simpkins pouring in 30 points. Kobe (Monterey High/Cabrillo College) Ordonio led GC with 24 points.

Jalen (DeAnza High) Chandler posted a 15 point, 10 rebound double-double and teammate Alfonso (Berkeley High) Murray was close behind with 13 and 10 as host College of Marin topped Solano College 73-70. `

Shakwon Lewis provided 14 points on a most efficient 3-3, 2-2, 6-6 shooting in Butte College’s 94-44 takedown of Lassen College. He added six assists.

Tuesday February 11

Santa Rosa Junior College bested visiting Sierra College 77-70 as Atmar (Washington High-Fremont) Mundu supplied 21 points, eight boards and seven assists and teammate Damian (Cardinal Newman) Wallace was close with 16 points, nine rebounds and six assists.

Last Saturday

College of the Redwoods got by Butte College 83-77 despite Noah (Corning High) Zoppi finishing with 31 points plus eight boards for BC. Thomas (Arcata High) Nelson paced the victors with 23 points, 11 rebounds and five assists.

Dempsey Roggenburk scored 29 points in leading Linfield College to an 88-75 victory versus Pacific Lutheran. He shot 11-19, 5-7 and 2-2 respectively.

Last Friday

College of Alameda upset visiting Yuba College 71-66 behind Kameron Malbrough’s bear triple-double of 20 points, 11 boards and nine assists. A 43-27 second half turned the score in favor of CoA.

Lance (St. Mary’s High/Irvine Valley College/Fullerton College) Coleman II is a 6-foot-6 junior at Cal State Northridge averaging 7.7 points and 3.0 boards in 12 games and just over 22 minutes a contest. He is shooting 40%, 32% and 77% respectively.

6-foot-10 Ethan (Madera High/CCSF/Fresno City College) Richardson is averaging 10.1 points plus 2.8 rebounds in nine games and 18 minutes a contest for Colorado Mesa University. He is shooting 67% from the floor and 88% at the foul line.

Steven (Grant High) Richardson is a 6-foot-5 freshman at Midland College (TX) averaging 9.4 points, 3.7 boards and 1.8 assists in 23 games/21 starts/27 minutes a night. He is shooting 48%, 42% and 62% respectively.
