California fell to Arizona State 80-75 despite Paris (Bishop O’Dowd/Boise State) Austin providing 17 points, five rebounds and five assists.

Sayeed (El Cerrito High) Pridgett was one assist short of a triple double with 24 points, 11 boards and nine assists in Montana’s 78-63 victory over Idaho State. He shot 10-14 from the floor and added three assists.
Junior (Modesto Christian) Ballard totaled 27 points (although 7-21 shooting), seven rebounds, four assists and two steals but Cal Poly fell 105-101 to Cal State Fullerton in four overtimes.
Freshman guard Ezra (Heritage High) Manjon provided 16 points, eight boards and seven assists as UC Davis handled Cal State Northridge 110-98.
Freshman center Joshus (Sheldon High) Morgan shot 8-10 on his way to 17 points, eight rebounds and four blocked shots in the Long Beach State 65-63 edging of UC Riverside. Arinze (Bishop O’Dowd/Washington State) Chidom posted a 14 point, 10 board double-double for UCR.
Iowa State took care of business versus Texas with an 81-52 success as Solomon (Sacramento High) Young provided 17 points, five boards and a pair of blocked shots in 24 minutes of playing time.
Going 7-11 from three-point range, Micah (Lick-Wilmerding) Elan led with 28 points and teammate James (Leland High) Kelbert added 12 points plus a team best nine boards in Pomona-Pitzer’s 86-66 success versus Cal Lutheran.
Ty (College of Marin) Davis scored an efficient 17 points (5-7, 1-2, 6-6 shooting) in leading Cal State Stanislaus to an 81-79 win over San Francisco State. Linton (Cabrillo College) Acliese brought 32 points plus 10 rebounds for the Gators.
Chico State won on the road versus Cal State San Bernardino 92-88 with Justin (River City High) Briggs’ 22 points plus 10 boards leading the Wildcats. He shot an economical 7-10, 1-1 and 7-9 overall.
UC Merced edged Cal Maritime 75-72 behind Rafael (Sacramento High/Sacramento City College) Durr’s team-leading 21 points as he shot 8-10, 3-4 and 2-2 respectively. Zavier (Rodriguez High) Lucero finished with 21 points plus seven rebounds for the Vallejo-ites.
Christian (Menlo-Atherton High) Fioretti poured in 26 points in the Oberlin College 84-69 win over Hiram College.
Eric (Consumnes Oaks High/Sierra College) Toles finished with 22 points as Hope International defeated San Diego Christian College 78-65.
Kiree (Santa Cruz High/Fresno Pacific) Hutchings contributed 13 points (4-10, 3-8, 2-3 shooting) in the John Brown University 85-68 victory against Southwestern Christian.
Host Columbia College took down College of the Sequoias 87-72 powered by Landis (Langston Hughes Academy) Spivey’s 27 points, Grayson (Clovis West High) Carper’s 24 and 21 from Deshawn Bartley. Columbia shot 30-61 from the floor, 12-24 from long distance and 15-21 at the foul line. Tiveon (Selma High) Stroud was remarkable for COS with 21 points plus 22 rebounds. Guy Dossi game report.
A 58-43 second 20 minutes powered Fresno City College over West Hills Lemoore 100-84. Keshawn (Burbank High/Cal State East Bay) Brunner led the Rams with both 24 points plus 11 boards. Bryce (Lemoore High) Hernandez with 21 points and seven rebounds was on top for WHL. He shot 10-11, 1-1, 0-1 respectively.
Lassen College topped Shasta College 71-56 behind Jordan Mukenga’s 21 points, 18 rebounds and four steals.

College of Alameda topped Solano College 85-74 getting a 31 point, 16 assist and 10 rebound triple-double from 5-foot-10 sophomore Kameron Malbrough. Jordan (Vacaville High) Adams provided 27 points for host Solano.
Visiting Yuba College bopped Napa Valley College 103-70 behind Patrick (Granite Bay High) Lambey’s 20 points plus 11 boards and Brandon (Clovis West High) Recek’s 17 points.
Host Chabot College edged rival Ohlone College 71-68 with Micah (James Logan High) Webster’s 14 points leading the way.
Last Thursday in the Cal Maritime’s 72-64 defeat of Pacific Union: “…Zavier (Rodriguez High) Lucero had a career and program-high 21 rebounds along with a game-high 16 points, finding himself in double digits scoring again as the junior has yet to finish a game in single digits. It also marks his 13th double-double on the year which is also a program high.”

6-foot-7 Akron junior Camron (Oakland Tech/Sheridan College) Reece is averaging 6.5 points plus 4.7 rebounds in 24 games/11 starts and just under 17 minutes an outing. He is shooting 57% overall, 68% at the foul line.
