After finishing 7-25 and 4-14 while hampered by injuries, Sacramento State needs creators and scorers at the guard and wing positions plus another effective big. Returning to the halcyon days of Mikh McKinney and Dylan Garrity combining to power the backcourt may or may not be possible but greater and consistent guard production is necessary. The Hornet spotlight will now be on 6-foot-8 Joshua Patton with the graduation of top scorer and team leader 6-foot-7 Justin Strings.
