In Belfast, Buffalo edged USF 85-81 as Frankie (Burlingame High) Ferrari produced team highs of 19 points, six boards and four steals.

Isaiah (Placer High) Pineiro just missed a double-double with 17 points and nine boards as San Diego defeated Long Beach State 74-70. For the Beach, Temidayo (St. Joseph Notre Dame) Yussef scored 28 points in 26 minutes on 10-13 overall shooting and 8-10 at the foul line.

Sacramento State had no trouble with Cal State Northridge in winning 88-68.

Jesse (Drake High) Hunt provided 26 points plus 10 boards but Eastern Washington still fell 88-68 to Seattle.

Powered by Andrew (Hamilton High/Butte College) Whitsett’s 21 point, 10 rebound double-double, Cal State Dominguez Hills edged Cal State Monterey Bay 86-84. Jahvon (Clovis North High) Johnson scored 23 points for the Otters.

Propelled by 25 points from Micah (Lick-Wilmerding) Elan and Daniel (Los Altos High) Rosenbaum’s 24, Pomona-Pitzer topped Alma 88-76. Elan added eight rebounds, five assists and zero turnovers while Rosenbaum contributed 10 rebounds.

Trey (Harbor High/West Valley College) Whitley’s team-bests 18 points and five assists buttressed by Avery Edwards’ 17 points and 11 boards powered Cabrillo College to a 60-53 defeat of Cuesta College.

Chabot College handled College of Marin 77-64 behind 20 points and 16 boards from freshman Jabari (Sacramento High) Sweet.
