Eddie (Archbishop Riordan/CCSF) Stansberry scored 26 points in powering Hawaii to a 71-63 victory over Alabama A&M. He shot 6-12 from long distance.

In San Diego’s 61-58 victory over Grand Canyon, Isaiah (Placer High) Pineiro posted a 17 point, 12 rebound double-double.

Sacramento State fell 70-65 to Northern Colorado despite Joshua (Sierra High) Patton providing 15 points, nine boards and three blocked shots.

Pomona-Pitzer won the battle of the hyphens 90-78 against Hardin-Simmons.

Cabrillo College 60, Foothill College 49 – Trey (Harbor High) Whitley and Lenorris Mincey each scored 15 points and the latter secured 11 rebounds. Cabrillo box

Gavilan College 75, Columbia College 55 –  Deion (McClymonds High) Ellis led the victors with 17 points, Xander (Christopher High) Bowers tallied 16 and Daylon (Edison High) Potts provided 13 points, 13 boards, four assists, three steals and two blocked shots. Gavilan box

Santa Rosa Junior College 75, Foothill College 66 – Sophomores Skylar (Drake High) Chavez and Ryan (Petaluma High) Perez provided 37 points and 16 points respectively for the Bear Cubs.

UC Santa Cruz fell to Whittier College 88-74 despite Sam (Vacaville High) Gabbard posting a 26 point, 16 board double-double for the Slugs.
